A. The test is designed for all candidates eligible and applying for admission to any undergraduate programme (except engineering) at any of the universities accept Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam scores.

Q. Where will the tests be administered?
A. You can take the Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam at any Pearson VUE test centre in your region. You can also take the exam from your home via OnVUE online proctoring.
Q. What do I need to do if I want to take the test online from home?
A. Once you complete your registration and click on the schedule button, you will be presented with a screen showing two delivery options. Select the “OnVUE” option and then follow the required steps. Once you schedule the exam, you will receive a confirmation email with details and next steps.

Q. Are there sectional cut-offs?
A. The exam itself does not have any cut-offs. However, the participating colleges may have their own cut-offs.
Q. Is there any negative marking?
A. No.
Q. Can I apply for admissions to foreign universities with Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam scores?
A. At present, exam scores cannot be used for admission to foreign universities. However, we encourage you to periodically check the list of eligible colleges and universities for updates.
Q. How is the Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam scored?
A. The Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam is scored based on the number of questions answered correctly. There is no negative marking. Each section of the exam is scored separately. Pearson VUE follows industry standard processes for question review, statistical analysis, equating, and scoring to ensure the test is fair, valid, and reliable for all candidates.

Q. Can I use my score for admission to Indian Universities in later Years?
A. Your scores are valid for the immediate/upcoming admission session.
Q. Can we alter the sequence of answering the sections?
A. Questions presented in the exam are fixed but content differs from candidate to candidate, including the sequence.

Q. When can I schedule my exam?
A. Once you have registered and paid for your exam, you may schedule the exam on your registration login dashboard. You will be presented with slots available from the next day and onwards. We allow booking of slots at least 24 hours in advance of your desired date/time. We highly recommend scheduling your slot at the earliest opportunity, since availability is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Q. Can I change the date and/or time of my exam after I have scheduled it?
A. Yes, you can reschedule the exam after you have booked a slot. You must reschedule your exam at least 48 hours before the originally scheduled date/time. Each reschedule will be charged at INR 500 + taxes (USD $6.78). If you do not reschedule and are unable to attend the exam as scheduled, your exam fees will be forfeited.
Q. What if I need support while scheduling my exam?

Q. Can I cancel my exam after I have scheduled it?
A. No. Exam cancellations are not allowed.
Q. Can I re-sit/retake the exam if I have already taken it in the same year?
A. Yes, you may retake the exam 15 days or more after your previous attempt. You are limited to three exam retakes. To retake the exam, you must register and pay the exam fee each time.

Q. How do I register for the Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam?
A. From the exam homepage, click the Register Now button, then submit the registration application and required fee.
Q. What does it cost to take the Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam? What payment methods are available?
A. The application fee (including the examination fee) is INR 1750 + taxes (USD $23.74), which you can pay online using net-banking, credit or debit cards, and other popular modes of payment.
Q. Are offline payment methods available?
A. Offline modes of payment are not available.
Q. How will I know if my registration has been accepted?
A. Upon successful submission of the registration application, you will receive a confirmation email along with a payment invoice and instructions for scheduling the exam.
Q. What can lead to cancellation of my registration?
A. Your registration may be rejected if the application contains any invalid or incorrect information. Be sure to adhere to the requirements in our Terms and Conditions.
Q. In case of cancellation, will I get a test registration fee refund?
A. The registration fee is non-refundable.
Q. What will happen if the registration form or payment details are incomplete?
A. If your registration form and/or payment are deemed incomplete before the submission deadline, you may be considered ineligible to take the exam.
Q. Does the exam feature accommodations/support for candidates with disabilities?
A. Yes, we intend to provide as much support for candidates as possible, with decisions made on a case-by-case basis.

Q. What are the eligibility requirements to sit for the Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam?
A. Applicants must:
- Have a score of 10+2 from the relevant state or central board or similar eligibility as per Indian education guidelines
- Have been born on or before December 31, 2008.
Q. Can I edit my registration applications once it has been submitted?
A. Once you submit your application, it is final. Please review the Terms and Conditions and exam rules carefully to avoid submitting incorrect information and potential disqualification.
Q. What are the specifications of the photo upload on the registration application?
A. The photo required for the registration application should be a standard passport size on a solid background and less than 100 KB in file size. See more details on the registration application page.
Q. When and how will I learn my test centre details?
A. You will select the test centre of your choice during scheduling. However, test centre availability will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Q. Do I need an admit card?
A. There is no admit card required.
Q. When and how will I receive my results?
A. Results will become available immediately and will appear in your Pearson VUE candidate account.
Q. What IDs and documents are required for admission on the day of the test?
A. One of the following IDs is required:
- Passport
- Driver’s license
- Any government-approved photo ID
Q. What time is the exam offered?
A. For test centres, exam slots may vary depending on the centre chosen. For both test centres and the online testing option, typical slot times will range between 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
This may change depending on capacity and other factors.
Q. What if I arrive late to the exam centre due to unforeseen circumstances?
A. Late arrival of up to 15 minutes is allowed. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you will not be allowed admission to the test centre and the registration fee will not be refunded. For the online exam, we recommend logging into your account 30 minutes early to start the check-in process and allow any system troubleshooting. Therefore, if you feel you are unable to take the test at the currently scheduled date/time, we recommend you use the reschedule option in advance.
Q. What can I bring to the test centre?
A. Other than your required ID, you should not bring any items to the test centre.
Q. Does my name have to exactly match the documents I provide for identification?
A. Yes, your name must match your ID documents exactly.
Q. What if I see an error in a question or answer choice?
A. In such a case, answer the question to the best of your understanding and finish the test. After the exam, you can write to PearsonUGsupport@Pearson.com to share what you observed.
Q. Will there be any breaks during the test?
A. There are no breaks allowed during the test.
